Then Came the Old Barn…

As the Farmhouse neared completion, Bob started looking at the old barn on the next property over. It was surprisingly sturdy for an old cantilever barn that hadn’t been tended to in many years, but it wasn’t salvageable as a barn. The barn wood was beautiful and he thought perhaps he could do something with it. The idea for the Event Center was born.

In typical Bob style, he started the build with a vague plan in his head and nowhere else, but over the months, it started to take shape. The Event Center retains many of the original posts and beams, and the wood planks on the walls are the original planks from the old barn.

This space is available to rent for weddings, family gatherings, meetings, retreats, and anything else you can imagine. When there isn’t an event going on, our guests often like to stroll along the pathway around the building for a little exercise and fresh air.
